My priority date is not current.But today in USCIS status check I saw that I got a RFE.what does it mean?Why they are processing my case now?

I had a really good experience in Nogales last week, I got my visa stamping on the same day of my appointment and the NVS International team was great. They arranged everything for me:transportation from the Tucson Airport to Nogales, they arranged my hotel stay, bank draft as well as transportation from the hotel to the consulate. Important, remember to take your client letters if you are doing any consulting for a particular client and take all your tax return information. Take every piece of information that specifies where you work and what your job duties are.

I am currently working for company A under H1B visa. Company B recently bought all of Company A�s Assets. I am still working for Company A (doing clean-up work) but will be laid off shortly (within a month). Company B offered me a similar position.
I read that since Company B bought all the assets and runs a similar business they would be considered as "successor of interest�, therefore, we would not need to file a transfer with USCIS and a simple letter would be sufficient.
How does that work exactly? Can I travel with my old visa and the letter? What happens if later on Company A is dissolved? Cancel the visa?
I think that Company B is ready to sponsor me for the Green Card. I�m not sure that they would be ready to pay for the fees for the transfer AND the green card now. I would really like to start the Green card process as soon as possible since it takes so long. I understand that it might be better to file a transfer to be on the safe side but if I can save some of the fees it would be great.

i got ead(secondary person) yestesday.and also i applied H1 B which got approved 1 week back and i want to take SSN. so my question is with

My I-140 was denied by TSC early last year. We sent in an MTR/Appeal on the denial. The case was sent over by the TSC to AAO. We received an RFE from the AAO on the appeal a couple of months back. We responded back to the RFE within the required time frame.
My attorney just informed me this week that the case has been transferred back to the USCIS from the AAO. Can anyone please tell me if this means that my case has been approved or denied? Also how long can the USCIS sit on it before adjudicating? I'm assuming that the AAO has passed a decision, thats why they have sent it back to USCIS....
PLEASE HELP!!!

I guess these are the cases of cross-chargeability where the principal applicant is born in India whereas the spouce is born in a non-retrogressed country like UAE. Here is the forum which explains on cross chargeability:

I am a July filer who has been working with his company for 5 years on H1. I have an offer to switch jobs and I am contemplating using EAD (I renewed it in 08,just never used it).
The new employer has verified my status using e-Verify. What surprised me is that , as soon as the verification was done, my existing employer called me and started asking me if I was planning to use the EAD and if they can do anything to alleviate my concerns about my compensation etc.
There is not way my current employer would know about my intentions since I maintained the confidentiality.
Does anyone know if e-Verify informs the current employer somehow? Do they receive a call from USCIS for any verification? Could this be a matter of concern?.

I have renewed my AP third time now; All three time AP went to lawyer; This time it was a record 15 days for AP approval. USCIS is getting it done superfast looks like.

Hello,
My firm is about to start greencard processcing for me and this is the first time that they are undergoing this process. They are searching for letter templates which decribes the employee eligibility and responsibilies in the firm and why they want to recommend greencard for this perticular employee. If anybody can upload such kind of templates/documents, that would be of greater help.

This is with regard to GC and h1
I have applied for family based GC above 21 yrs old on December 2006 and also currently holding h1 valid from October 2008. I also have my opt till May. Now since my employer was not able to find me a project he wants me to chg my status. I do not know what to do and how to chg my visa as, if I go on student visa I need to show financial documents and since I have not made any money how is it possible . If you can also suggest some schools who will not charge much or some courses which are not very expensive and time consuming and also where I can get work authorization as I will find jobs which are not technical and in line with my educational and work qualification . I have a deadline this evening as my employer just called me and told me this
