I am applying to renew my EAD and looking at the paper Application on page 7 I see that if you are C9 which all of us are mostly..we need not file an application fee..
Is it true..

If you paid the new fees when you filed last year then you don't have to pay the fees again this time. But if you paid $180 for ead then pay again now.

I'm Cuban and I met my wife while on a trip to the island. I brought her over to the states on a K1 visa. Unfortunately things did not work out between us. Now she is going back to the island for a while and plans to come back. She still has not been here the 1 year and 9 months she's required to stay married to me in order to fulfill all of the K1 visa requirements.
My question is; if she leaves the states and we have divorced, will she be able to re-enter the states?
Let me know if more info is needed.
Any advice/suggestion/counseling will be most appreciated.

Matter has been discussed in the past but i wanted to get an advice/opinion from seniors/pro.
How serious problem could be leave employer in the month you get green card who has sponsored you for immigration.

my wife is on H4 visa.... to work she would need H1...
BUT I have heared that if she gets some research-work in any University / non-profit organisation, they do give special work permit immediatly unlike H1 where u have to wait till October... IS THIS TRUE?

October is usually a month where we see improvements as new visa numbers become available for a new fiscal year. Most categories showed forward movement though few jumps of more than a few months. The exception is the Mexico Family 1st category which jumps a year and a half. EB-3 is available again, but not set at a date particularly close. Most people will not be happy with the dates. If we want to find out whether USCIS will accept our applications, we have to prove that Visa #s were available on a particular day. This thread will track the 485 approvals received on or after June 28th.

USCIS has released figures from the first week of the H-1B season and filings for the 65,000 H-1B "regular" cap slots for the fiscal year that begins in October were just 13,500. I applied for green card via national interest waiver category, and I decided to obtain green card through consular processing. To be eligible to get the immigrant visa in my home country, I showed consulate an offer letter from a U.S. company.
My question is , do I really have to work on that job after I enter U.S. ? Because I am not very interested in that position. And I am thinking about studying for an MBA, instead of working.
I was given a temporary green card when I entered the custom. It usually takes 2 month to get the official green card. But if I reject that offer , would my green card be revoked ?

Please be advised that the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) has been experiencing delays in the processing of I-765 EADs and I-131 Advance Paroles. Therefore, we recommend that EAD and AP renewals be filed 4 months prior to the expiration date, the earliest date USCIS will accept renewal applications. For EAD applications that have been pending for more than 90 days, an interim EAD card can be issued. Please contact our office for assistance with expedite procedures for your pending I-765 or I-131 application if your current work authorization is about to expire or if you have an emergent need to travel.

Hi All,
I got F1 VISA for X University and then I transfered to Y University.
Now I have lost I20 for that X University.
I am filing for H1B now and I am supposed to submit all prior I20s.
What would be the potential problem if I do not submit the I20 of X univ?
Is there any way to retrieve the I20 from the university?

With all the uncertainity about dates moving backwards (unpredictable) is it better to go for AOS.
Is it true if you go for CP and dates move back..then your application is not approved untill dates become current?
