Hello,

I applied AOS in July 07 and was waiting for my and spouse FP till now. Last week I received FP notice for my spouse but her middle name on FP notice is spelled wrong. But her I-485 receipts and EAD are spelled correctly. What do I do ? Do I need to contact them and have it corrected before she appears for the FP appointment. Her FP appointment is next week so there is not much time left. I was thinking , that when she appears for FP appointment to let them know about the spelling mistake.

Members, please share any similar experiences.

Where can i get photos for the Canadian visa. they have different specs. from the US pp photograph. I have already checked- Costco, USPS and the other stores.

My wife is planning to travel overseas for 3 months and return on AP. Her status is AoS(dependent) as she quit working on H1 a few months ago. Any experience using AP for such long stays outside the country? Please share your experiences.

Hi Gurus,

If you look at my signature, My 485 has been transferred to TSC from NSC and AP is still stuck at NSC. I have some emergent situation back home , I have faxed the doctor certificate and called USCIS using POJ method and the guy says it might take another month. wat the *****....tried infopass..my local office doesnt have no more appointments.
My questions:
1. Can I take Infopass appointment anywhere else which is not my local office?
2. Can I apply a new 131 application at TSC as my 485 is there now?

Someone pls advise.

I know that most of the people on this forum are EB filers. However, for the few stragglers here who are filing in the family based category, please share your experience on filing the I-751 (petition to remove the condition on the GC). Specifically, I'd like to know the following:

- Estimated time from filing date to receipt of permanent GC
- Did you have interview with USCIS?
- Compare / contrast with first interview during the AOS process.

I signed an employment agreement stating that if I had to leave my employer before getting my Green Card that I will be liable for all the fees pertaining to the Green Card application which my employer has been paying for while I am been employed by him.

I have heard that an employer cannot hold Green Card fees over an employee. I also believe if anything, the fees owing should drop according to the length of time that the employee has worked for that employer.

I have been with my current employer for 4 years now and I wish to leave him but I do not want to pay him for the Green Card fees as I believe that should be a business expense to him.

I would just like to know what are my rights in the above case

Book name is "Let Us 'C'". This is a good for the beginners.

I love the G4, but I know it does have some problems with 3D rendering in some situations. I'm not sure why that would be happening.

personaly I use 600+ megs and I still find myself lacking in the memory department.

My wife is on h1.Her staffing company did not have a project from july 1st.
I applied for her h4 cos on july 7th.
Her company had applied for h1 amendment for change of location in may.status shows pending.
My question- are we safe in applying for h4cos on the basis of old approved h1.does the outcome of amendment h1 even matter, since there is no project anyhow and the person has applied for h4.

I would like to invite my brother to US for a 2 month road trip I am planning in April.

I finished my employment in Jan and currently on 6 months B2 visa. I got my NZ residency approved and I will be leaving US in June at the end of road trip. I have been living in US for past 10 years (3 years on F1 and 6.5 years on H1B). I am 32 unmarried/male/Indian from Hyderabad.

My brother is 33 and is married with a 3 year old daughter. He manages my dads businesses (rental properties, finance, farm etc.). I am pretty sure he has some properties on his name.

I would like to know what are his chances of getting visa approved.

What do I need to provide him as support and what does he need to provide as support documentation ?? What does US consulate look for support typically and to what extent ?

I would really appreciate if anyone can give some advice especially someone who were successfully able to get a US visitor visa to their brother.
