I applied EAD for me and my wife, yesterday.
When I check for the case status, it shows my wife EAD application as I131(advance parole) document.
XXXXXXXXXXXX Y N 08/26/2010 I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT
I have complete I765 application with receipt still I guess I need to call them.
Is anyone in the similar scenarios?

My friend John Lamb in Nashville blogs today about ICE's Hutto detention center where whole families are jailed while awaiting deportation. I'm reminded of Charles Dickens' tales of debtors prisons in Victorian England where "lawbreakers" who violated British laws relating to debt were jailed right along with their spouses and children. It's hard for me to tell the difference. I don't know that I blame CCA, the contractor that runs the center. Nor do I necessarily blame ICE which is simply carrying out their mission. I am not sure what is so important in this to answer.
As long as thay had sent the finger prints to you, you should be OK. There is no particular pattern in which they send the EAD cards. So, no body can answer your question about when will you get the EAD. Just pray and watch. If it is more than 90 days since you have applied for your EAD, then you may contact your local office to expedite the process.

if you already have a prospective employer who will sponsor you, just fill out everything and have your lawyer ship the application april 1st.

i just can't buy into the digital lens system.. Lenses are such an investment and I'd hate to go to a system like that, then a few years later have them offer their new "higher end" camera with a full frame.
